The Snow Camp Fire Department is now currently accepting applications to fill two (2) full time firefighter positions.
                                Minimum Qualifications include:
                                              21 Years of age
                                   NC Firefighter Level I & II
                              NC Hazardous Materials Level I
                                      NC EMT Basic or EMR
     NC Class B Drivers License (within 90 days of employment)
NC Emergency Driver Certification (within 90 days of employment)
                                 Starting Salary: $35,000
                  Will match up to $1,500.00 a year to a 401K
                                  Health Insurance Included

Meet some of the Station 6 members!

Chief Gene Wellons 

Chief Wellons is the head fire officer on all emergency incidents, he also oversees the everyday duties of the paid  employees. 

President Kyle Hall 

Captain Hall is the president of the board, he oversees the chief in a business setting and oversees all of the departments decisions. 

VP Greg Roten 

Vice President Greg Roten is not only the Vice President of the SCVFD but he also has been volunteer with us for the past 3 years. 

Asst. Chief Bill Bischoff 

Assistant Chief Bischoff is third in command. He also works alongside the Chief and Dep. Chief. He is also responsible for taking the position of Chief if the absence of the Chief and Dep. Chief occurs. 

Secretary Will Southard 

Mr. Southard is also a volunteer along with being the secretary. He is responsible for keeping track and records of all Fire Departments business.
